DEMO REEL 2012
“Allow myself to introduce…myself.” –Austin Powers-
Adam began his acting career back in 2003 when he attended the Acting for the Camera Program at Capilano University in Vancouver, British Columbia. Very shortly after graduation, Adam signed on with an agency and began booking roles in many of the television productions being filmed in Vancouver such as Smallville, Kyle XY, Killer Instinct, Fringe and Stargate Universe. He also landed credits in some feature films which include Dr. Dolittle: Tail to the Chief and Totally Awesome.
In 2006, Adam wrote, directed, produced and performed in a “Kids in the Hall” style sketch comedy group called “The Usual Degenerates”. Their performances were held in local venues such as The Presentation House, Anza Club, The Havana, and the Scotia Theatre. The group performed in the Festival of Plays in 2008 and won the adjudicators award from Dean Paul Gibson. Vice President of Theatre BC Bill Elliott, labeled the group “The most offensive act to ever hit MainStage”.
Currently, Adam is taking a step back from auditioning for film and TV and focusing more on his own projects. With the help of long time friends and colleges Tanner Adams and Brian Hulme, Adam wrote, directed, and co-starred in his very first short film; a science fiction/horror called “Seeing Red. The film was completed in early 2014 and is now being submitted to film festivals all over the world. Adam also wrote a feature length version of “Seeing Red” which he will be taking into pre production sometime next year.
